Augusto Franco Mendoza Valdivia (July 16, 1999 - Lima, Peru) is an Peruvian Singer, Songwriter and Disc Jockey.  

On 2009, Augusto created his own record label 'Music Eye' and started to create his debut album 'Who I Am', released on July 19, 2014, and re-released on November 10, 2014.

Augusto is currently promoting his second album 'PARTY', released on February 2, 2016, and also studying audiovisual media at "UPN" college.

Some of Augusto's songs are: 'Love', 'Popstar', 'I Want A Party', 'Meow' and 'The Best'.

Augusto Mendoza Valdivia
was born on July 16, 1999 in Lima, Peru. His mother, Isabel Valdivia, is a clinical children psychologist and currently is also University teacher, and his father, Gilmer Mendoza, is a school psychologist. He has Arab descent.

He lived on San Juan de Miraflores (Lima, Peru) until 2006. On 2007 he started living on San Miguel (Lima, Peru) after a family crisis on 2006.

On 2008, he started to listen to Nickelodeon's stars music and singed up to his school choir, where he discovered his passion for music. At age 9, he created a song called 'Estoy Cantando', but he never released the song for lack of a record label. On December 21, 2009, he created his own record label called 'Music Eye'.

On 2010, he started to plan his debut album, he created another song called 'Negativo y Positivo', months later, he created a demo album called 'Chispas', incluiding 12 teen pop songs in spanish, but he never released this album because it seemed very childlike.

During 2011, he didn't write any song, so he started write songs in english on 2012. The first song he wrote is called 'R.I.P.', a song dedicated to his grandfather, with whom he has a lot of things in common, althought he passed away on 1996.

On October 2012, he wanted to release a single from his debut album, to be released on 2013, but he announced he wanted to work more to make a better album. On July 2013, he disabled his accounts on facebook and twitter.

On Augusto, 2013, Augusto returns to facebook and twitter announcing his first single and debut album dates. His first single 'My Bright Glow' was released on September 20, 2013.

On November 2013, he announced the second single. The second single, 'Love', was released on January 1, 2014, having better success than 'My Bright Glow'.

On February 2014, Augusto created a little associaton called 'Support Association', dedicated to help people with emotional problems. On April 4, 2014, he released the third single and title track, 'Who I Am'.

On June 1, 2014, he released his first EP called Augusto EP, inlcluding 4 unreleased songs, and 3 different versions of his singles 'My Bright Glow', 'Love' and 'Who I Am'. On July 4, 2014 he released 'Popstar' as the fourth and lead single from his debut album. On July 19, 2014, he released his debut album 'Who I Am', incluiding 17 songs. 

On October 6, Augusto made a post on his blog saying that 'Who I Am' was deleted from SoundCloud for copyright reasons and he was going to release the album again on November 10, with a changed track 4.

'Runaway' was released as the last single from 'Who I Am' on March 6, 2015. On March 8, 2015. Augusto made a post dedicated to every people who supported him with 'Who I Am', and also said that March 6, 2015 was "His Last Day Promoting 'Who I Am'".

On December, 2014, Augusto revealed he was working on his second studio album since December 2013.

On July 15, 2015, Augusto deleted all the post from 'Support' section on his blog, and he posted saying he have had a big depression and he felt himself fit to give advices, so he wanted to start again. One day later, on Augusto's birthday night he posted on his blog announcing his comeback with a new album called 'PARTY' to be released on February 2, 2016. On July 17, Augusto announced 'I Want A Party' to be released on August 1, 2015 as the first and lead single from 'PARTY' along with the official single cover. 'I Want A Party' peaked #15 on Music Eye's Free Songs Chart.

'Headache' and 'The Only One' were released as promotional countdown singles on October 6 and November 2, 2015.

On November, Augusto announced 'Meow' as the second single to be released on December 3. The song peaked #8 on Music Eye's Free Songs Chart. On January, 2016, Augusto announced an additional track called 'Galaxy', to be included on the SoundCloud edition of the album.

'Brooklyn Nights' and 'Sing All Night' were released as promotional countdown singles on December 25 and 27, 2015. 'Burnin was released as new year promotional countdown single on January 1, 2016. 'Damn Teacher' was released on January 4, 2016 as the third single from the album. On February 2, 2016, Augusto released 'PARTY' on SoundCloud along with 'The Best' as the official fourth album single with a nostalgic music video on March 25, 2016. 'Monster Heart' was released as a promotional single on March 28, 2016 and 'Mock The Bad Times' on May 13, 2016.

On June 25, Augusto released 'This Is Shit' as the fifth single from the album. The music video for the song was released on August 12 along with a new Augusto's YouTube channel. On September, 2016, Augusto started planning a new music video for the next single from the album.

'Augusto EP' is the debut extended play by peruvian singer, songwriter and DJ Augusto, released on June 1, 2014. The EP was produced by Gottyrec & Music Eye. The EP includes 4 unreleased songs and 3 new versions of 'My Bright Glow', 'Love' and 'Who I Am'.

On May 2013, Augusto made a post saying that he wrote many songs, but many of these were very depressive. So he wanted to work more on his debut album 'Who I Am. But on another post, he said that he still wanted to release some of these unreleased songs.

On May 2014, Augusto announced her first extended play called Augusto EP, inluding 4 unreleased songs: 'The Poison', a vocal version of the song 'Decay' by Dan Easton, 'Warrior Life', a beat box song produced by Augusto, 'Killer', a song which he plays the guitar, Augusto said that this song is dedicated to his art teacher in 2013, and 'S.S.S.', a depressive punk rock song about Augusto's depression in 2012.

The only single from 'Augusto EP' was 'My Bright Glow (Remix)', released on September 20, exactly one year after the release of the original version. The music video was released on October 11, including scenes from the original video plus new scenes recorded in a new school trip in 2014.

The song was written by Augusto on September 2012 during a school trip with his classmates. The remix was originally set to be released a the official single but Augusto chose to record the official version of the song on Gottyrec Estudio.

'My Bright Glow (Remix)' was released on October 31, 2013 to promote the original version of the song. However Augusto deleted the song and released it on September 20, 2014, exactly one year after the release of the original version. The music video for the remix was recorded in a new school trip, including scenes from the first video released on September 2013.

'Who I Am' is the debut album by peruvian singer, songwriter and DJ Augusto, released on July 19, 2014. The album was produced by Gottyrec & Music Eye. The album includes 17 songs. On 2012, Augusto announced he was working on his debut album. After, in 2012, Augusto announced that the first single would be released on October, 2012, and the full album on 2013. Days later, he announced on twitter that he wanted to work more in the album, and the first single would be released on 2013. On 2013, he announced 3 collaborations on his album, and one rock pop song. On May, 2013, Augusto made a post saying that he wrote many depressive songs to the album. So he wanted to wrote more happy songs.

On August, 2013, Augusto posted a picture announcing that his first single to be released on September 20, and the album to be released on July 16, 2014. Days later, he announced 'Who I Am' as his debut album's name, and 'My Bright Glow' as his first single.

On October 31, 2014, 'Who I Am' was deleted from SoundCloud for copyright reasons, and Augusto had to re-relased including a new track 4, 'Slow Acid'.

According to the Track By Track of the album: 'Session Of Dreams' is a song about happiness and dreams. 'Back To School' is a rebel rock and pop song about school, it includes a part of Lady Gaga's song 'MANiCURE', many of Augusto's friends wanted the song as a single, but Augusto didn't release the song as a single because he didn't wanted problems with his school. 'My Bright Glow' is a song dedicated to Augusto's good moments with his school friends in a school trip on 2012. 'Slow Acid' is a vocal version of Calvin Harris' original song, the song is about fame and broken hearts. 'Negative Picture' was written in a pijama party where Augusto didn't sleep and stayed watching old TV shows. 'Popstar', the lead single from the album, is a song inspired on Augusto's depression he had before the release of 'My Bright Glow' on 2013. 'You're Like Me' is an acoustic song about Augusto's wishes of have a brother. 'Snowflake' is a christmas song about the christmas spirit and the happiness of December. 'Multicolor', originally 'X You' by Avicii was inspired on Augusto's kaleidoscope prism glasses he wears on the cover of the album. 'Who I Am', the title track of the album, is a song about personality and self-steem. 'Love', originally 'Rain' by Blackmill is a song about how a girl broke Augusto's heart on 2012. 'ARTPOP' is a cover of Lady Gaga's original song, including Gaga and Augusto verses. 'Let Me Be Free (Disco Ball)' was originally 2 songs called 'That Music' and 'Disco Ball In My Stage', Augusto could not decide between the songs, so he decided to make one including both songs, the song's about fame and concerts. 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' is a cover of Bob Dylan's original song. 'Do What U Want' is a mashup of Lady Gaga's original song featuring R. KellyChristina Aguilera and Rick Ross verses, plus a new verse written by Augusto. 'Bye', originally 'Closer' by Approaching Nirvana, is a song about the world and live with happiness and freedom. 'Runaway', the last song from the album, is a song about Augusto's fans who fight for their dreams and start living a fantasy to make their dreams true.

'My Bright Glow' is the debut single by Peruvian singer and songwriter Augusto from his debut album 'Who I Am'. The song was written by Augusto and produced by Gottyrec Estudio. The song is about the friends, and it's very special to Augusto, but this song wasn't a success.

The song was written by Augusto on September 2012 during a school trip with his classmates. The song was originally planned to be a song about parties and drugs but Augusto decided to write a song about the day he spent with his friends. According to Augusto, he was living a hard depression and this day he felt happy beside his friends, so he decided to write a song about it.

On August 2013, Augusto announced the first single would be released on September 20. The music video was released 2 days later. It was recorded in a school trip in 2013, and includes a mix of the song, which was criticized and compared with the original version included in the album.

The song received positive and negative reviews. The song was described as "a good start for a 14 years old new artist". However, the production of the song was criticized for being "too simple and poor quality". On the subject, Augusto said he wasn't ready enough when he recorded the song on the studio.

The song was written by Augusto on February 2013. According Augusto, the song is about a past love. He admited he fell in love hard with a girl who broke his heart with lies.

On December 2013, Augusto announced the song as the official second single from his album. The music video was released on February 14, 2014 and it features Augusto singing next to a church along spiders scenes on Augusto's room.

The song was well received for Lady Gaga's 'Venus' fake leak sample used on the chorus of the song. On the subject, Augusto said he was inspiried by Lady Gaga's album 'ARTPOP' when he recorded the song, so he decided to sample the fake leak found on YouTube because he thought this leak deserved a complete song.

According him, the song and the album were originally planned to be called 'I Am' stylized as 'I A M' (I=I'm, A=Augusto and M=Mendoza) but he chose 'Who I Am' because didn't wanted to put his last name on his artistic name. The song is about personality and Augusto's insecurities during the album recording.

On March, 2014, Augusto announced the song as the third single and title track of the album to be released on April 4. The original music video was filmed on February, 2014 and was set to be released along with the song. However, the video was never released for unknown reasons. Augusto filmed a second video for the song and released it to promote the song. The video features Augusto on his room singing the song.

The song was described as a good title track for an album but it wasn't well received as single and went unnoticed.

He said he wrote the song in a very special moment of his life, he was depressed and insecure for the bad promotion of the album and he decided to write a song about how he wanted to fight for his dreams.

On June, 2014, the song was announced as the fourth single from 'Who I Am'. A music video for the song was released at Augusto's birthday on July 16. The video features scenes of Augusto's shadow singing and dancing, along with some scenes on Larcomar, his favorite place on Perú, and at the cinema with his frfiends.

The song was well received being described as "the real birth of Augusto's album". After the song release, Augusto decided to make the song the lead single from the album.

The song was written by Augusto on February, 2014. According to him, the song is about the dreams he have and how he wants to make people believe in themselves. The song originally wasn't set to be part of the album but when Augusto wrote the song he didn't wanted to get rid of the song.

Since Augusto wrote the song, he wanted to release it as the last single from 'Who I Am'. He announced the song as the fifth and last single from the album on February 2015. A music video for the song was released on March 6, it features different videos from the "Who I Am Era", including the music videos for 'My Bright Glow''''', 'Love', 'My Bright Glow' and 'Popstar'. 'Young Teacher' is a song about the experience Augusto had being teacher on 2013 summer. 'Brooklyn Nights' is a cover of Lady Gaga's original unreleased song, he also dedicates this song to a girl who didn't really love him as he tought.     'Chispas' (English: Sparks) is an unreleased album by Peruvian singer, songwriter and disc jockey Augusto. The album was set to be released on 2010 as Augusto's debut album under the name "Augusto MV". It was going to be a latin teen pop music album, set to be released on 2010. However the album was canceled before release its first single.

    After sing up to his school's choir, Augusto started discover his love for music listening to Nickelodeon artists as Miranda Cosgrove, Big Time Rush and Drake Bell. On September, 2009, Augusto wrote his first song called 'Estoy Cantando'. Months later, on December 21, 2009, Augusto created his personal record label 'Music Eye' and he started write more songs in spanish to his debut album.

    Before write 12 songs, Augusto planned to release 'Estoy Cantando' on March, 2010, as the first single from his album called 'Chispas', set to be released on June, 2010, including the 12 songs he wrote.

    On February, 2010, Augusto canceled the album release because he thought he needed more time to grow up and write "better lyrics" for his new songs. However, he confirmed he gave his mother the first demo recording for 'Estoy Cantando' as mother's day gift.

    'I A M' is an unreleased album by Peruvian singer, songwriter and disc jockey Augusto. The album was set to be released on 2013 as Augusto's debut album under the name "Augusto MV". It was set to be released as an electropop album. However the album was canceled days before release the first single. On 2012, Augusto started writing english song. Augusto planned to release the first single on October, 2012, and the complete album on 2013. The first song Augusto wrote for the album was called ' Back To School', later released on his debut album 'Who I Am' (2014). According to Augusto, he named the first single 'I Wanna Party', and he was going to release it on October 23, 2012, but he had no idea how to produce the song, so he decided to cancel the single 5 days before its release. Augusto named the album ' I A M' because of his name, meaning "I A M = I Am Augusto Mendoza". The official cover, which appears Augusto with 3D glasses and a disco ball was never revealed. Augusto confirmed the album was going to have 12 tracks for the standar version and 3 bonus tracks for the deluxe version. Currently two tracks are included on Augusto's albums 'Who I Am' (2014) and 'PARTY' (2016).     'RetroPop''''' is an unreleased album by Lebanese singer, songwriter and producer TAREQ GAGA and Peruvian singer, songwriter and disc jockey Augusto. The album was set to be released on 2016 as TAREQ and Augusto's first collaboration album. However the album was canceled moths later it was planned.

    On July, 2014, Augusto released his single 'Popstar' and promoted it on facebook, twitter and littlemonsters.com. TAREQ heard the song on little monsters and contacted Augusto to work in a collaboration. They created a R&B song called 'The Sound', set to be included on TAREQ's album 'LEGACY' and also on Augusto's debut album 'Who I Am' as a surprise song for the album. However they preferred to work more on the collaboration and release it time later.

    Months later, under the influence of Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett collaboration album 'Cheek To Cheek', TAREQ and Augusto decided to record a collaboration album called 'RetroPop', including original songs and Lady Gaga covers. The album was set to be released on 2016, to promote both albums 'Unapologetic' (TAREQ GAGA) and 'PARTY' (Augusto). However, they lost contact a few months later and the album was never finished, so it was canceled.

    On February, 2014, inspired by Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Foundation', Augusto created a 'Support' section on his blog to provide support to people with emotional problems.

    Augusto started posting advices every friday on his blog, but months later, Augusto deleted all the posts because he wanted to start again. Augusto started to post advices everymonth, time later, Augusto deleted the posts again saying he was living a difficult moment and he felt unfit to give emotional support advices.

    On July, 2015, Augusto made a post on 'Support' saying he felt better and he wanted to start it all again. On October, 2015, Augusto posted an advice called "Love Yourself" on 'Support' to announce his single 'The Only One'. He also promoted the single with 3 projects to spread personality and freedom called #Fingerprint, #HeartFlag and #BeTheOnlyOne.

    On February, 2016, without a previous notification, Augusto created instagram and twitter accounts for 'Support', and he started to share colorful pictures with positive messages to spread love, freedom and happiness. 

    On July 16, 2016, Support released a new Augusto's single called 'Peace World' dedicated to the victims from the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting.

    'Peace World' is a song by Peruvian singer, songwriter and producer Augusto. The song was officially released by Augusto's association Support on July 16, 2016 as a solidary single dedicated to the victims from the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. The song was written and produced by Augusto. The song's lyric is a worldwide call to make people spread peace and love and includes a Lady Gaga quote saying "It's always wrong to hate but it's never wrong to love". The single artwork is a peace symbol with rainbow colors inside. By launching 'Peace World', Augusto and Support association show a full support to LGTB community. Augusto confirmed a lyric video for the song was released on July 31.

    During his childhood, Augusto suffered an immune problem, reason why he was very prone to many diseases. Augusto was also victim of physical and verbal bullying when he was a kid at school, it caused him emotional problems that make him very insecure of himself. 

    On 2006, his parents split up and he went into a big depression. On 2011, Augusto thought of committing suicide. The depression on Augusto had reached a very high level. However, months later, Augusto started listening to Lady Gaga's music. It helped him to face depression. According to Augusto, he said "Gaga saved his life" and "make him believe in himself".

    After having overcome depression, Augusto started working on his debut album. His debut single, 'My Bright Glow', wasn't the success he expected before release the song, and he thought of quit music, however, he finally decided continue with his music plans.

    On June, 2015, Augusto fell into a depression again. Months later, on September, 2015, he began being victim of an unknown stomach disease, which led him to a deep depression. On October, 2015, Augusto started a psychiatric treatment for depression, along with another medical treatment to combat his stomach disease. 

    On December, 2015, Augusto finished high school at "Corazon De Jesus" school. Later, on March, 2016, he started going to the "UPN" college to study audiovisual media.
